Rough Draft

Image
Rough Draft   We imported all the clips that we are using into Adobe. We edited the clips to shorten them, but we are still far over our time  limit for the whole film.  It came out to be around 2 minutes and 10 seconds after shortening them, not including the opening credits and production name.  We must start cutting clips and  maybe even  removing some that  aren't  needed.

Title Creation

Image
Title  Creation   Today we created an animated logo that will be used in the beginning of the film  to present the title . We used the features in  C anva to put   them  together , such as the videos and  anima tion effects within the app.      This is the process of editing it and putting it together. The next thing shown is a video of what the animation looks like with it all put together.    https://www.canva.com/design/DAHE3ahn6TE/jYLEmtLMApPkKF9VLHxI8w/edit?utm_content=DAHE3ahn6TE&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Opening Credits

Opening Credits We will present our opening credits right after we present the title of the film and who the production company is. The opening credits should include the production company, main actors, director, producers, writer, editor, and highlight artists of any music used. Opening credits are there to give the credibility to each person involved in the film making and highlight which person did which task. We will have the names for all these tasks listed, fading in and out one at a time. It will then fade to end and then transition into the actual film content. We are not sure what music is going to be used yet due to still prepping for editing, but these are the names of the people that are given credit towards each task: Production Company: MK Production Actors: Kole Ayrault, Joe Moon (voice actor), Mikala Moon Director: Mikala Moon Producers: Mikala Moon and Kole Ayrault Writers: Mikala Moon and Kole Ayrault Editor: Mikala Moon

Uploading

Uploading After a lot of research on our genre and a lot of work to plan and film our movie opening, we are finally starting to transport our videos onto our flash drive to upload it onto our editing platform. We plugged my phone into the computer in one input, and in another input, we plugged in the flash drive. We then had to drag and drop each file into a file named “final” that we created on the flash drive. From here, the next step is to upload it into Adobe Premiere Pro, then edit.

Adobe Features

Key features of Adobe Premiere We researched  possible transitions  and features that we might use for editing our opening scene. We may not use all of  them,   and we may use others that are not listed.  Transitions Cross Dissolve: A standard, smooth fade between clips. Dip to Black/White:  Fades through a solid color to  indicate  a  scene of  change, often used for dramatic effects. Mo rph Cut:  A sophisticated transition that uses face-tracking to create a seamless jump cut, commonly used in interviews. Motion Impacts:   A variety of   dynamic transitions  incl uding Push, Slide, Split, Spin, Fold, and Page Turn. Features   Color Grading:   Lumetri Color tools  provide advanced color correction and color wheels. Audio Editing:   Essential Sound panel offers auto-ducking, noise reduction, and sound mixing. Performance:  GPU-accelerated performance enables faster rendering and smoothe...

Technology

Image
Hohem   iSteady  X3 3-Axis Smartphone Gimbal     This device is a 3-axis portable smartphone gimbal that is typically designed for travel and content creators. The one that we used for out film came with a screw-on tripod piece. There is a mini remote that can be removed from the gimbal, so we can set up the phone and control the rotation, lighting, and depth from a distance.  The main purpose of the gimbal is to create steady content. It allows your phone to stay steady and focused even if your hands are not steady. It also allows you to create a smooth rotation of the phone, including side to side, up and down, and around in a circle. We used this gimbal device to film our whole film.   We used one other feature on our phone to create the mood of the film with lighting. We did this through my  phone,  which was the device  we used to film. It is a feature that pops up when you click on the  main focus  point in the camera f...

Props and Costumes

Image
Props and Costumes         The baseball costume  in  the start was white pants and a grey and orange SHS baseball long sleeve. To  indicate  that it was a different day  of  baseball, the baseball costume changed a little bit. The props used during these clips were a phone, which  was showed  close-up, and chipotle, which was his dinner after baseball.          One costume used was a casual, teenage boy athletic outfit. When the character walks out of the room with a regular outfit on and a backpack, it  indicates  that it is a new day and that he is going to school. The props used while the character is in this outfit  is  the backpack and the yogurt. The backpack shows  he's  going to school, and the yogurt shows that it is morning because he is eating breakfast.          This baseball outfit helps  indicate  that  its ...
