CCR #4 Creation The last CCR was followed along the same lines as the 3rd one. I created another solo podcast and followed along a script to keep it flowing smoothly.

CCR #3 Creation

CCR #3 Creation For my 3rd CCR, I created a solo podcast. Below is the script that I used to follow along with in order to make sure I covered all topics I needed and for it to flow smoothly.

CCR #2 Creation

CCR #2 Creation For our second CCR, we decided to do another podcast. We created a script to follow along with to make sure we covered all  points  we needed to cover. The following is the script we used...

CCR #1 Creation

CCR #1 Creation For CCR #1, Mikala and I are going to be creating a podcast. We are both talking throughout the whole podcast. There is a series of questions that I bring  up,  and I answer each of those questions. This allows each question to highlight a certain convention. This makes it easier for the audience to engage and follow along.

Podcast Background

Today we made our Podcast background  which will be  show n  on the screen while we  talk  about our production process. This will be used in the first and second CCR’s  which are podcasts.

Rough Draft

Image
Rough Draft Today we put in all the clips that were filmed, cut them to the correct length of time, and arranged them in the correct order. We have not done any editing with color grading, sound effects, audio, or transitions. This video below is our rough draft to get an idea of what the film will look like in the end.

Background music

Background Music   Today we selected our background music to put behind our whole film. This music  is  created to make the film dramatic and suspenseful. We are using a video off  Youtube  called "Background Suspense Music - Suspenseful & Dramatic Film Soundtracks 'ANTICIPATION'". Background noises are  very popular  in thriller films. In our film we are using a more instrumental type of background, but in others they often use sound effects like wind or heavy breathing to create the atmosphere.    Here is the link to the video we used for our film sounds...   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS6dhZc6uac

Production Logo

Production Logo     Today we  finalized  our production logo on Canva. W e named our production company MK Productions by combining the letters of both of our first names. This will be presented at the  end  of our final opening movie scene.    The importance of  personalized logos :   They recognize  companies  that finance or produce films or TV shows, highlighting their contribution to production.   Like  corporate branding, these logos  assist  businesses in  making themselves stand out in a competitive market.   They aim to be unforgettable,  frequently  employing symbolic, emotionally impactful visuals to create  deeper  links with audiences.

Successes and Challenges

SUCCESSES AND CHALLENGES   Throughout our  postproduction  process, we have had many successes while also having to face and consider many challenges.    SUCCESSES:   Using editing techniques to cut clips and make them run smoothly together:     S ome techniques  are cross fading and invisible cuts which  have  helped combine clips in a smooth and thorough way. Although this may not allow the film to work in its original script form, be ing able to arrange things while editing helps make the ideas come to a real vision.   Matching audio:    We  have been able to match audio levels together and create audio soundscapes. Having the ability to add background  sound effects and music helps to make our film more engaging for the audience to watch and has contributed to making our film smooth and seamless.    Color grading:   We have used color grading to make each clip have the same tone.
